Rebuilding Thailand's Fishing Fleet

The Asian Tsunami wiped out most of Thailand's fleet of long tail fishing boats, leaving hundreds of thousands of people dependant upon aid to survive.  Replacing the 5000+ lost boats will enable the local economy to become self-sufficient again and less reliant on the aid that will soon expire.  The Thai Tsunami Long Tail Boat Relief Fund was founded after one of the trustees of the charity was asked to help with the relief effort. The trust has applied for, and been granted registered charity status with the UK charity commission. His account of his experiences can be found by clicking here.

What we are doing...

Not a single penny of donations goes towards any administration cost whatsoever!

Every single penny goes towards buying a boat. Each boat allows several families to rebuild their lives and not rely on any further aid.

Find out how you can contribute DIRECTLY towards supplying another boat - or even donate enough for an entire new boat - you'll be surprised just how affordable they are - click here

What we have achieved so far...

In the last year since the Tsunami disaster, an unprecidented number of people have helped us in Eduardo's effort to help the people of Thailand rebuild their lives. So far, almost 50 boats have been rebuilt yet there is still so much more that we can do. To see Eduardo's reports from Thailand a year on click here
